ECU Health Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a travel role in our Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This full-time position offers an incentive bonus of up to $30,000 for qualified candidates.

Applicants must possess a minimum of 1 year of RN experience. This position is not suitable for new graduates.
Unit Details:
The PICU at James and Connie Maynard Hospital features a 12-bed intensive care unit, catering to patients with severe medical conditions such as respiratory failure, unstable cardiovascular diseases, neurological disorders, and critically injured pediatric trauma victims.

At ECU Health Medical Center, we are devoted to providing exceptional care for children in eastern North Carolina. As the region's only Children's Hospital, we offer specialized services, including a Level IV NICU and a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing standards and American Nurses Association guidelines.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and document outcomes effectively.
- Address the unique needs of pediatric patients and their families throughout the care process.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Experience in Pediatrics, ICU, and Emergency Room settings is advantageous.
- A current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state is required.
Work Schedule:
This position involves 9 FTE (3) 12-hour shifts with rotating schedules.
