Job Title: Medical Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver

Norco, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Medical Non-CDL Route Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering, setting up, and picking up DME equipment, supplemental oxygen products, and supplies to home care patients within a prescribed and assigned geographical area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently organize delivery routes on a daily basis
  • Deliver liquid and compressed gaseous oxygen to specified points of delivery
  • Deliver durable medical equipment and other home care-related equipment to specific points of delivery
  • Protect patient PHI per HIPAA regulations
  • Handle the retrieval of rental return items and their proper handling and placement into the designated rental return area
  • Provide patient/client orientation and instruct on the proper use of equipment
  • Work with patients/clients to solve a variety of problems, acting as a company field representative
  • Demonstrate timeliness, courtesy, sincerity, and patience when dealing with customers
  • Assist, when necessary, the pulling of equipment and supplies from the warehouse as prescribed on patient/client delivery tickets
  • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • No at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to lift and/or carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally weighing over 100 lbs
  • Ability to accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
  • Perform basic mathematics calculations
  • Familiar with all FDA regulations as they pertain to oxygen
  • Familiar with required accreditation policies and procedures as they pertain to delivery driver-related activities and customer/staff safety
  • Valid Driver's License
