We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Hamdan Resources, LLC. This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency and primary care medicine, with a minimum of three years of experience as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level direct care to patients, including stabilizing, evaluating, and treating emergency patients.
  • Ensure proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment, and recovery, requesting necessary tests and follow-up visits as needed.
  • Refer patients to specialists as necessary and attend and participate in meetings to improve quality and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current and unrestricted license from any US State, District of Columbia, or US Territory to provide healthcare within scope of practice.
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • American Heart Association - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification is preferred.
  • DEA License.
  • Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent(s) is desired.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 15 lbs.

Other Special Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate.
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
  • Must relocate to project site for the duration of the contract.
  • Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance.
