We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Coding Denial Specialist to join our team at HCA Healthcare. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of healthcare revenue and delivering exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inpatient coding, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care hospital settings. A bachelor's degree in HIM/HIT is preferred, and RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification is a plus.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing documentation to support codes/DRGs and abstracted data for inpatient records, identifying and writing clear and concise appeal letters, and utilizing resources to identify the root cause of denials/downgrades.

Key Responsibilities:
