Banner Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Hospital Medicine team. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the complete course of hospital management from admission to discharge, working closely with hospitalist physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, conduct physical exams, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, best practices, and hospital policies to provide evidence-based care.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements:
- One year of experience in Hospital Medicine is preferred, but not required.
- Current Board Certification and Arizona License are mandatory.
- CAQ in Hospital Medicine is preferred.
- Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required.
- Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substances, are necessary.
