Job Responsibilities
  1. Provide compassionate nursing care as an LPN in post-acute facilities.
  2. Monitor residents' physical and mental conditions, tracking their vital signs.
  3. Perform resident intakes, documenting medical histories and health concerns.
  4. Help administer medications, tracking their use and effects.
  5. Create a comfortable, safe environment for residents.
  6. Track residents' medical records and charts.
  7. Assist with IVs, immunizations, and phlebotomy procedures.
  8. Maintain a proper inventory of medical supplies.
  9. Follow and adhere to resident care plans.
  10. Work with staff in the orientation and training of new colleagues.
Qualifications and Skills
  • A current Massachusetts state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required.
  • Completion of an approved LPN educational program is necessary.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is needed.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience (LPN or related role) is preferred.
  • The ability to lift at least 50 pounds is essential.
