About the Role

As an In-Home Therapy Clinician, you will work with children and families in their natural environment, providing family therapy, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention and management using a trauma-informed model of care. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and families, and will be supported by a team of experienced professionals who share your commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide family therapy, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention and management to children and families in their natural environment
  • Work with a trauma-informed model of care to support clients and families
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client and family
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, teachers, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based treatments
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a mental health field (required)
  • Independent licensure or license-eligibility and active pursuit of licensure (required)
  • CANS-MA certification (required); support will be provided for those not currently certified
  • Familiarity with DSM V and broad knowledge of mental illness and treatment techniques, including family therapy
  • Experience working with children, adolescents, and families
  • Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems
  • Working knowledge of community resources
