Culinary Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at California Pizza Kitchen. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including pizzas, pastas, steaks, chicken, and seafood.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run a specific workstation in the scratch kitchen, ensuring efficient and safe food preparation.
• Prepare and plate CPK's innovative, craveable, and famous recipes, adhering to our high culinary standards.
• Broil, grill, sauté, and bake items, including pizzas, pasta, steak, chicken, and seafood, to perfection.
• Prepare pasta dishes, salads, and other menu items, following our recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

• Previous cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
