Job Description:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing high-reliability electronics for aircraft and be comfortable with the full product life cycle, from concept to delivery and operation. This role will be fast-paced in a dynamic startup environment, allowing you to make a direct impact on our client's mission.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop high-reliability electronics for aircraft quickly.
  2. Owning system trades, component selection, analysis, schematic capture, layout, bring-up, debugging, manufacturing, and test of electrical systems.
  3. Supporting hardware through ground testing and flight.
  4. Collaborating with other engineering disciplines to design and develop efficient and reliable overall aircraft systems.

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience designing, building, or testing circuit boards or other electronics.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from a reputable institution.
  • Proven ability to develop new hardware or systems with minimal time and resources.
  • Experience with sensor signal conditioning circuits, motor inverters/controllers, or actuation systems.
  • Knowledge of switching power converters, magnetics, solid state load switches, or analog control loops.
  • Experience with digital processors, memory chips, or network switches.
  • Familiarity with circuit board layout.
  • Able to automate hardware development functions (e.g., test scripts for bench testing, scripting to accelerate analysis).
