In this role at Booz Allen, you will collaborate closely with cloud specialists and engineers to oversee server configurations for contemporary cloud solutions.

You will leverage your expertise within a DevOps framework to create or provision virtual machines or networks and utilize cloud service providers to advance our clients' significant missions.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in architecting and deploying applications on platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in automation tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Experience in automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and daily system operations in cloud environments.
  • Experience managing Git-based version control systems, including GitLab and GitHub.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • A high school diploma or GED.

Preferred Skills:

It would be advantageous if you have:

  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) environments, including automated server or network configurations, large-scale software deployments, or monitoring and testing such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
  • Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure and applications in cloud environments, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience identifying and implementing automation to enhance user experience (UX).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby.
  • Experience with open technologies, DevOps, and related IaC tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub, and Git.
  • Experience with system integration using various protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML.
  • Experience utilizing JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration.
  • Experience documenting the current state of the environment, conducting gap analyses, and producing artifacts that articulate options and recommendations.
  • Experience managing personal project priorities and deliverables.
  • Cloud Certification, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Google Certified Professional – Cloud Architect, or MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure Certification.

Clearance Requirements:
