Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator:

  • Payroll Processing & Precision: The Payroll Administrator will oversee biweekly payroll processing for diverse clients and internal divisions, guaranteeing accurate calculations for salaries, overtime, and deductions, while addressing payroll discrepancies.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Tax Oversight: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local payroll laws, manage tax submissions, and assist in the preparation and filing of payroll tax documents.
  • Record Keeping & System Oversight: Maintain accurate payroll records, update employee information, and utilize payroll software for processing and reporting; troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues.
  • Client Assistance & Guidance: The Payroll Administrator will deliver outstanding customer service, respond to payroll-related questions, and educate clients on payroll policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ongoing Improvement & Reporting: Produce payroll reports, analyze data for trends, and engage in process enhancements and payroll-related initiatives to boost efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications for the Payroll Administrator:

  • 3+ years of experience in a payroll processing position, managing multiple entities/industries.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary: $55,000 - $70,000. This position is fully on-site in Clearwater.
