Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Summa Health System. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive treatment plans.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients with cancer and other conditions
  • Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust plans as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a school accepted for candidacy status from an accrediting body
  • Current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio
  • One (1) year recent experience in the area of practice
  • Additional related previous experience and/or preparation may be required for specialty units
Working Conditions

This is a per diem position, working variable shifts, including weekends and holidays. The successful candidate will be required to work at least 24 hours in a four-week schedule period.

Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $47.50/hour. Summa Health System offers a competitive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
