Medical Assistant Cardiology Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Medical Assistant to join our team at Baptist Health Lexington Cardiology. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our healthcare team by providing clinical support and ensuring smooth patient flow.
About the Job:
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for assisting with patient care activities, obtaining vital signs, and performing administrative tasks. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient check-in, registration, and other administrative tasks.
- Obtain patient vital signs, including height, weight, blood pressure, pulse oximetry, and temperature.
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient use of provider time.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting a plus.
