Position SummaryThe Automotive Lube Technician is responsible for executing specialized maintenance tasks, primarily focusing on oil changes and other fluid services. Key responsibilities include generating comprehensive vehicle service reports, replacing essential components such as wiper blades and batteries, and performing oil changes along with transmission and brake fluid replacements as necessary.
Essential Skills and QualificationsWhat you will bring to the role:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and repair capabilities.
- Outstanding analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software.
- Ability to interpret service manuals and repair guides.
- Efficient in completing repairs within designated timeframes.
- Competence in understanding work orders.
- A valid California driver's license and successful completion of pre-employment screening.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Conducting repairs, replacements, and maintenance with an emphasis on oil changes and tire rotations.
- Performing diagnostic tests, including test driving vehicles to verify repair effectiveness.
- Completing additional related tasks as assigned.
- Participating in ongoing training through Nissan's technician development program.
