Obsidian Solutions Group LLC is seeking a skilled professional to provide support for MEF/MEB-level exercise design, planning, and execution in the capacity of a Joint Aviation C2 Intelligence Analyst within the EXELMS section of MSTP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on operational concepts and evaluate aviation command and control processes.
- Develop exercise planning documentation, including Air Operations Plans and CONOPS.
- Facilitate the Joint Exercise Life Cycle for the effective employment of airpower.
- Coordinate joint and combined airpower at both tactical and operational levels, crafting relevant scenarios.
- Guide training participants up to the O-6 MEF Assistant Chief of Staff level.
- Lead air intelligence planning efforts and collaborate closely with the exercise design team.
- Assess exercise design and training events for effectiveness.
- Act as a vital liaison between simulated AOC and Higher Headquarters personnel.
- Adapt work hours to accommodate extended operational requirements.
- Serve as an event Officer in Tactical Command (OTC).
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a senior intelligence role within a CAOC/AOC/JAOC.
- Proven expertise in planning and executing Joint airpower employment.
- Prior military intelligence officer with a focus on air operations planning.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Air Operations planning process and joint doctrine.
- Completion of Intermediate Service School is required.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience in real-world operations.
- Recent Active-Duty experience in an AOC intelligence leadership capacity.
- Bachelor's Degree with over 12 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
