Responsibilities
  • Conducting evaluations and advisory services for the constructed environment, including property condition assessments, specialized evaluations, building envelope consulting, and forensic investigation analysis, along with the design of remedial measures for existing structures.
  • Demonstrating accountability, organization, dependability, effective time management, and self-direction.
  • Drafting comprehensive reports and proposals.
  • Supervising project proposals, field operations, and report generation.
  • Developing and maintaining a robust client database.
  • Overseeing project budgets and preparing financial invoices.
  • Providing mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Encouraging a safe working environment and proper utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution; a Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
  • 6-12 years of relevant experience, including management of facilities consulting projects, oversight of structural or building envelope initiatives, and provision of assessments and investigative services related to the constructed environment.
  • Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory or the ability to secure one within three months.
