Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the communication and language development of students. This position involves working collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to identify and address speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement treatment plans for students with speech and language challenges, ensuring they receive the necessary support to succeed academically and socially.
  • Collaborate with Educators and Parents: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student success.
  • Provide Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to address their unique needs and goals.
  • Monitor and Document Progress: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute valuable insights to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Offer Professional Development: Offer professional development and support to teachers and staff on speech and language topics, enhancing their knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • SC State License in Speech-Language Pathology: Hold a valid SC state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP): Possess an ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • Experience in School Setting: Preferably have experience working in a school setting.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of professionals.
