Medical Respiratory Therapist for Portland, Oregon

At Magnet Medical, we are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Portland, Oregon.
About the Role:This is a 13-week travel job opportunity with a pay package based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will work closely with patients of all ages, providing care and support for those with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Patient Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with respiratory or cardiopulmonary conditions, including reviewing medical history and performing physical exams.
- Treatment Plans: Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with respiratory issues.
- Respiratory Treatments: Provide oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, pulmonary rehabilitation, and airway clearance techniques as needed.
- Monitoring and Evaluating Patient Progress: Continuously monitor the effectiveness of respiratory treatments and adjust therapy as necessary based on patient responses.
- Emergency Response and Critical Care: Provide emergency respiratory care to patients experiencing respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, or other life-threatening situations.
To be considered for this role, you must have a license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in your state and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
