Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Rivers Edge Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, directing, and administering treatment modalities and procedures to restore function and prevent disability in our acute inpatient population. This is a weekend rotation position, requiring a minimum of one weekend a month.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients to determine the extent of their physical impairments and develop individualized treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Administer various treatment modalities, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques, to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and research in physical therapy.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Program.
  • Current licensure to practice in the State of Minnesota.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
  • Acute care experience preferred, but not required.
