Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Dietitian, you will:
- Deliver safe and effective evidence-based nutritional therapy in alignment with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage individualized nutrition care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine patient needs through interviews, medical history reviews, and interdisciplinary discussions.
- Develop tailored dietary plans, including recommendations for meal composition and nutritional supplements.
- Engage with patients and families to provide counseling on nutrition and therapeutic diets, considering their unique backgrounds.
- Facilitate group nutrition classes to educate various populations on dietary health.
- Participate in research initiatives to evaluate food and nutrition outcomes and inform policy recommendations.
- Advocate for individuals and communities regarding nutrition-related issues and resources.
- Contribute to the training and development of dietetic interns and staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and participate in quality assurance activities.
- Utilize electronic tools for managing patient information and enhancing educational resources.
Work Environment
This position is primarily clinical, requiring adherence to organizational policies and responsibilities. The role may offer hybrid work options following initial training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related field is required.
- Current Pennsylvania Registered Dietitian license is mandatory.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience is preferred.
