AutoMax Recruiting is currently seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team.

About the Job:

We are looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive systems and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle malfunctions
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
  • Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer
  • Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
  • Notify service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required
  • Notify service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised
  • Document work performed
  • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal
  • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor

Requirements:

  • Automotive Service Technician experience is required
  • Integrity, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic are required
  • Willingness to learn and be a team player
  • Receptivity to new ideas
