The Guest Services Representative serves as the initial point of contact for visitors. This role requires delivering exceptional customer service and being well-informed about the various services and activities available at the facility (such as membership options, event schedules, and other amenities). The Representative also conducts property tours and ensures adherence to the organization's policies and regulations. This position reports directly to the Membership Director, Business Development Director, or Assistant General Manager, depending on the organizational hierarchy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Welcome guests and provide comprehensive information about available services and activities.
  • Deliver friendly and professional service to all patrons.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns independently or with supervisory support.
  • Facilitate the registration process for services and activities.
  • Handle payments following established procedures.
  • Maintain a cash drawer according to standard protocols.
  • Complete shift reports in compliance with property guidelines.
  • Process and file necessary waivers for activity participation.
  • Utilize front desk technology, including multi-line phone systems and workstations.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisory personnel or management.

  • Exhibit strong verbal communication abilities.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in appearance and interactions.
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Maintain composure in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Remain calm and professional during emergencies.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience: No prior experience is required, although guest-facing experience is preferred.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English is necessary; additional language skills are advantageous.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to accurately calculate payment amounts and change.

Computer Skills: Proficient use of a Windows-based workstation and related equipment is essential.
