About the Role

As a Surgical Operations Specialist at Dignity Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Under the direction of the Perioperative Manager, you will be responsible for scrub duties, working collaboratively with our team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room environment
  • Participate in the scrub team to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the Perioperative Manager to implement and monitor risk evaluation and mitigation plans
  • Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and Dignity Health policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year of acute hospital experience with certification within the past three years in an Operating Room or three years of acute care hospital experience within the last five years
  • Graduate of an accredited program of scrub technician program
  • Certified Surgery Tech (CT OR) or Basic life support (AHA BLS)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cardiovascular surgery experience within the past five years
