Our state-of-the-art facility offers a range of services, including 24-hour licensed nursing care, IV antibiotic therapy, pain management, wound care therapy, and rehabilitation services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy. We aim to address the complex needs of our residents, providing them with the tools and support necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
We accommodate 59 beds in a comfortable and home-like environment, allowing our residents to feel at ease. Our team is committed to providing exceptional care and support, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our residents.
">The Role
">We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team at Baldwin Gardens Nursing Center. As an LVN, you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to our residents under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring that we meet all applicable regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and assessing and documenting changes in their condition
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents' needs and goals
- Ensure that all documentation and charting is accurate, complete, and up-to-date, adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulations governing nursing care in the facility
- Provide education and support to residents and families, promoting independence and autonomy in daily living activities
- Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as needed, demonstrating expertise in crisis intervention and conflict resolution
Qualifications
">To excel in this role, you will need:
- A valid and current LVN license in the state of California
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility, acute care setting, or in-patient rehabilitation or in-patient behavioral health setting
- Strong clinical skills, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care, with a focus on resident-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
Compensation and Benefits
">We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
