Spiritual Caregiver Hospice

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Spiritual Caregiver to join our team at Caretenders Hospice, a part of LHC Group. As a Spiritual Caregiver, you will provide spiritual care and support to patients and their families, promoting their emotional and spiritual well-being.

• Provide spiritual care and support to patients and their families, respecting their beliefs and values.
• Develop and implement individualized spiritual care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients and their families.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families on spiritual care and support.
• Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with LHC Group policies and procedures.

• Master's degree in theology, divinity, pastoral care, or a related field.
• Two years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in spiritual care or a related field.
• Current endorsement or acceptable language (licensing, ordination, etc.) in accordance with the applicant's spiritual/faith tradition.
