Amy Cole Connect is seeking a highly skilled swimwear pattern specialist to join our design team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in print and pattern design for swimwear and be able to drive and collaborate on developing seasonal patterns, color, and graphics from concept through execution.

As a key contributor to the team, you will be responsible for collaborating with design leads/merchants to identify the overarching category needs that tie into the seasonal concept. You should also be able to create artwork & colorways for yard dyes, jacquard, and special fabric developments, as well as ensure that the print charts/walls/archives/boards are in working order and up to date for all teams to use as a reference.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop seasonal patterns, colors, and graphics from concept through execution for line plans and special product launches.
  • Collaborate with design leads/merchants to identify overarching category needs that tie into the seasonal concept.
  • Create artwork & colorways for yard dyes, jacquard, and special fabric developments.
  • Manage print charts/walls/archives/boards to ensure they are up to date and accessible to all teams.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Fashion, Textiles or Surface Pattern Design
  • 4+ years of relevant design experience, some or all specific to print & textile design
  • Strong computer knowledge, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to hand sketch
  • Have a good understanding of print processes & techniques on a production & mill level
  • Experience in placement / engineered prints and how to format these to sketches & pattern pieces
  • Strong design and conceptual skills, sense of style and color.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, ability to form partnerships to collaborate, influence and drive change

**Estimated Salary Range:** $90K to $110K (dependent on experience)
