Job Summary

The Outlet Associate plays a vital role in assisting the outlet leadership in achieving operational goals by performing various tasks within the outlet location. Key responsibilities include cashiering, sorting items, ensuring quality control, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rings up customer orders, maintains a balanced drawer, and adheres to cash handling procedures.
  • Provides information about Goodwill programs to educate customers and directs higher-level questions to leadership.
  • Maintains the cleanliness of the facility, both inside and outside.
  • Safely moves properly priced and tagged furniture to the sales floor and arranges it in an orderly manner.
  • Assists with customer furniture carry-out requests.
  • Exhibits a willingness to cross-train in various outlet functions.
Requirements
  • No degree or credential requirements; we value candidates who can demonstrate capability and articulate how prior experiences will help them contribute.
  • Familiarity with warehouse processes, including receiving, putaway, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily production/quality quotas.
  • Physical ability to spend time standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
