Job Summary

The Clinical Care Coordinator I demonstrates the competency to provide patient care according to the age-specific population needs and assists in the management of patient care in the physician office setting under the direct supervision of a provider.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care according to age-specific population needs
  • Assist in the management of patient care in the physician office setting
  • Work under the direct supervision of a provider
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), or National Healthcare Association (NHA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
  • Basic Life Support/CPR certification
  • High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) year of clinical experience in an outpatient physician's office practice
  • Experience with electronic practice management and electronic health record programs
  • Ability to demonstrate self-direction and initiative
