Job Responsibilities
  • Support for first-time travelers with a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
  • Manage a variety of patient conditions including chest pain, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and more.
  • Be prepared for potential overflow into medical-surgical units.
  • Engage in special procedures including pre/post cath lab care, and various vascular surgeries.
  • Participate in the management of intravenous drips and bedside sheath removal.
  • Work on a flexible schedule, including every other holiday.
  • Adapt to assignments across all inpatient units as needed.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Proficient in telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation.
  • Experience with CABG, chest tubes, and post-angiogram care.
  • Ability to administer blood products and manage central and peripheral lines.
  • Competence in starting IVs and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips.
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions and wound care practices.
