We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our heating and ventilation systems.
Key Responsibilities- Clean, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Interpret readings from gauges, meters, and computerized control systems to diagnose and troubleshoot issues.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including filter changes and equipment inspections.
- Collaborate with users to identify and resolve heating or cooling system malfunctions.
- Evaluate and recommend repairs or replacements of equipment based on manufacturer guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Recovery License, Refrigeration Technician License, and Massachusetts driver's license required.
- At least two years of experience with HVAC units 1 ton to 10 tons.
- Exceptional customer service skills and ability to read, write, and speak clearly in English.
