Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care through the use of advanced imaging technologies. Your expertise will be essential in preparing patients for procedures, instructing them on the ordered tests, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked environment in the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and educate patients regarding the ordered test and prepare them for the procedure.
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing all exams according to protocol and maintain the physical environment of the department in a clean, well-stocked, and orderly manner.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the Ultrasound Department with other areas of the department and hospital to ensure and maintain patient care.
Requirements:
• Successful completion of an accredited two-year Ultrasound Technologist program.
• Registered with ARDMS within 3 months and maintain active registry status during employment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained within three (3) months of hire and maintained.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
• Pass vascular boards within eighteen months of hire.
