Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Golf Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Touchstone Golf LLC. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our golf course equipment and performing routine repairs and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance work to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf course equipment, including tractors, riding mowers, and hand mowers.
  • Keep all mowing equipment operable and properly sharpened to maintain course quality.
  • Maintain accurate service records on all equipment and major repairs to facilitate historical evaluations.
  • Ensure the shop working area is kept neat and orderly, and observe working conditions in compliance with all relevant safety and compliance laws.
  • Collaborate with the Superintendent and Golf Maintenance Crew to train and educate staff on equipment usage and safety.
  • Manage inventory control to ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and training to maintain expertise.
  • Provide assistance with mechanical problems in other departments and respond to guest emergencies as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and crouch.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and lift overhead, push/pull, and move lighter objects.
  • Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat.
  • Occasional exposure to wildlife such as snakes, scorpions, spiders, bees, and hornets.
Qualifications
  • Three years' experience as a mechanic on golf equipment.
  • Knowledge of electric and gas-powered golf carts and engines.
