Job Description

Impact Dojo is a dynamic and innovative company that is revolutionizing the way martial arts is taught to children and adults. We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic black belt instructor who is passionate about teaching martial arts and believes deeply in our mission.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with children, preferably in a martial arts setting. They will be responsible for providing daily martial arts instruction to students between the ages of 4 and 18, demonstrating techniques, and providing feedback on their progress.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of students and team members, enforcing all martial arts rules and regulations, and working effectively with fellow Activity Specialists. They will be a positive role model for students and exhibit the Impact Dojo Code of Conduct at all times.

We are looking for someone who is patient, caring, and creative, with excellent judgment and the ability to identify problems and find solutions. They will be a team player and have a commitment to producing consistent, high-quality work.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily martial arts instruction to students between the ages of 4 and 18
  • Demonstrate martial arts techniques and provide feedback on student progress
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students and team members
  • Enforce all martial arts rules and regulations
  • Work effectively with fellow Activity Specialists
  • Be a positive role model for students

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children
  • Martial arts teaching experience (1-5 years minimum) required
  • Teaching certification (preferred but not required)
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Be willing to travel and have good physical condition to execute all responsibilities associated with this position.
