Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to join our team at Abbott Laboratories, responsible for managing the delivery of exceptional customer service and support to our Diagnostic Division customers in the Arkansas, Kentucky, or Tennessee area.

Salary and Benefits

The base salary for this position is $109,300.00 - $218,700.00, and may vary based on specific locations. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including free medical coverage for employees via the Health Investment Plan (HIP) PPO, an excellent retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and education benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality System Management: Ensure the effectiveness of the quality system and implement processes and procedures to support business objectives.
  • Customer Support: Provide direct service and support to Abbott's Diagnostics Division customers, promoting ADD products and image by delivering superior service and support.
  • Team Leadership: Build and motivate an effective team, assess team performance, and make staffing decisions.
  • Communication: Maintain a positive working environment with open communication and problem resolution, ensuring adequate two-way communication with service, support, and sales districts.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 4-5 years' customer support experience preferably in the diagnostics industry or in a lab environment.
  • Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs and Biologics.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prefer someone who has led a team or has had a dotted line report.
  • Field Service experience is preferred.
  • Management experience is a plus.
