Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician to join our team at PSI Industrial Solutions. As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex heavy equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Use your expertise to identify and repair issues with heavy equipment and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as inspections and repairs, to prevent equipment downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Work closely with our team of technicians and engineers to share knowledge, best practices, and expertise, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and Maintain Preventive Maintenance Schedules: Create and implement schedules for routine maintenance tasks, ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and reducing the risk of breakdowns.
  • Assist with Equipment Inspections: Participate in regular equipment inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Respond to Emergency Repair Calls: Be available to respond to emergency repair calls, ensuring that equipment is quickly repaired and returned to service.
  • Abide by Standard Operating Procedures: Follow established procedures and protocols for equipment maintenance, repair, and inspection, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Facilitate Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and customers to ensure that equipment is properly maintained and repaired, and that customer needs are met.
Requirements
  • 3+ Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician.
  • ASE and DOT Certifications: Possess current ASE and DOT Vehicle Inspection Certificates.
  • Class A CDL: Hold a valid Class A CDL.
  • Insurability: Be insurable by PSI's carrier to drive service vehicles.
  • Knowledge of Heavy Equipment: Have extensive knowledge of heavy equipment and machinery, including pumps, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
  • Problem-Solving and Organizational Skills: Possess exceptional problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically capable of lifting 65 pounds, wearing required protective clothing, and repetitively bending, squatting, and kneeling if required.
