We are seeking a skilled and experienced RN to join our team as a Vascular Access Specialist. As a key member of our Dynamic Access team, you will be responsible for providing expert vascular access services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Insertion of peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs) and other vascular access devices
- Examination, assessment, and evaluation of patients with vascular access devices
- Education of patients and family members on procedures and device care
- Documentation of procedures and patient information
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Current ACLS and BCLS certifications
- Completed vascular access competency skills checklist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This role requires the ability to work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and patient homes. You will be required to drive between client facilities and may need to lift equipment and assist with patient repositioning.
Physical DemandsThis role requires regular standing, bending, and lifting of up to 20 pounds. You will also need to be able to see, talk, and hear for extended periods.
