Job Description

As a Lead Production Quality Specialist at GE Vernova, you will play a critical role in driving quality excellence across our production cells. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to lead the implementation of Built In Quality processes and tools, and to develop a culture of quality within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of quality processes and tools to support business strategy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to measure performance against quality objectives
  • Coach and develop PQE and Lead PQE teams in BiQ and 4D/8D problem-solving methodologies
  • Partner with the COE Quality Leader to drive business excellence and support the implementation of quality initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Quality from an accredited university or college
  • At least 4 years of experience in quality leadership or a related field
  • Significant exposure to global quality leadership and experience in engineered-to-order supply chains
  • Expertise in Six Sigma Quality concepts and tools, including DFSS, DMAIC, Design and Process FMEA, MSA, and SPC
  • Competency in RCA (8D/DMAIC/A3) and experience in leading manufacturing, quality, or highly cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive strategic change across the organization
