Job Overview

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and manage Just-In-Time stamping and related operations, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards, quality metrics, customer satisfaction, cost efficiency, productivity, environmental considerations, and ergonomic practices through effective problem-solving methodologies.
  • Facilitate clear communication with stamping personnel through regular pre-shift and individual meetings, covering company policies, operational procedures, work instructions, and environmental compliance.
  • Evaluate production targets and align them with operational procedures in collaboration with other management and supervisory staff to enhance product reliability while minimizing expenses.
  • Exemplify safety leadership by consistently using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Guide, mentor, and develop team leaders to enhance their job performance and professional growth.
  • Organize and delegate tasks effectively to meet daily production, quality, and cleanliness objectives.
  • Respond promptly to all incidents and injuries, initiating the investigation process to determine root causes and corrective actions, ensuring follow-up on implementation.

  • Maintain and revise training matrices to reflect current competencies.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 5 years in an automotive manufacturing setting is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role is preferred.
