Water Resources Engineer

At Beam Longest and Neff L., we are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a Water Resources Engineer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a well-established team and contribute to the development and design of water resource projects for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within a fast-paced team environment to develop and design water resource projects for clients
  • Proficiency in water resource design and hydraulic modeling as well as the ability to learn and develop technical skills for unique and advanced design requirements on projects
  • Develop and review plans and computations to ensure quality, compliance, and accuracy of the design work and construction plans
  • Provide efficient design to ensure profitability and client schedules are being met
  • Develop time-saving design resources to be utilized by other engineers within the department
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • 8-12 years of experience in water resource design
  • PE (IN) or ability to obtain within 4 months
  • Familiar with drinking water modeling, water distribution systems, storm water collection, and plant facility designing
  • Proficient in preliminary engineering reports
  • Good knowledge in funding sources and those requirements
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is a plus
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
