Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operations Technician to join our team at Spherion. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards, box build assemblies, and other mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly Operations: Assemble printed circuit boards, box build assemblies, and other mechanical components to meet quality and production standards.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test assembled components to ensure they meet IPC-610 and J-STD-001 workmanship criteria.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Mechanical Lead to resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the assembly process.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in company or special training classes to improve skills and knowledge, and contribute to process improvements.
  • Safety and Housekeeping: Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following safety rules and maintaining a clean workspace.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six months of related assembly experience.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 13485; ability to build cable and wire harness assemblies to IPC-620.
  • Qualifications: Must be able to build box build assemblies or related printed circuit assemblies to IPC 610/JSTD-001 workmanship; must be able to read and interpret industry standards, engineering drawings, and specifications.
