Radiation Imaging Specialist

Adventist Health is seeking a Radiation Imaging Specialist for a role in Atascadero, California.

This position represents the SEIU and is responsible for imaging newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with radioactive materials as ordered by physicians. The specialist will instruct patients, adjust equipment, determine proper dosage, and desired exposure time following ALARA guidelines.

The Radiation Imaging Specialist will be part of Adventist Health's team at Templeton, serving northern San Luis Obispo County. This 122-bed acute care facility provides various medical services, including emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and more.

• Determine proper dosage and desired exposure time for each image following ALARA guidelines.
• Instruct patients on radiation imaging procedures and positions them correctly.
• Adjust imaging equipment to achieve optimal results.

This Radiation Imaging Specialist position offers an $70,000 - $90,000 per year salary, depending on experience, along with various benefits, including:
