Greater Binghamton Health Center is seeking a Peer Specialist to join our team. As a Peer Specialist, you will serve as a role model and assist patients in regaining personal control over their lives and recovery process.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach patients effective coping strategies, sometimes based on personal experience.
- Assist patients in clarifying their goals.
- Help patients develop support systems.
- Be a patient advocate.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have two years of experience participating in mental health self-help activities, peer support or peer advocacy programs, recipient run organizations, or similar experiences/programs.

Salary: $41,399 - $50,884
