Job Summary:

The Bartolotta Restaurants is a renowned culinary organization seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Houseman. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of events and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Setup and Breakdown: Set up and take down banquet rooms according to function specifications, ensuring that all equipment and materials are in place and functioning properly.
• Client Communication: Confer with guests and clients to determine event requirements, providing personalized attention and ensuring that their needs are met.
• Logistics and Transportation: Assist in transporting heavy materials such as staging, tables, and chairs to the event space, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
• Facility Maintenance: Check and adjust temperature and lighting settings, ensuring that the event space is comfortable and well-lit. Verify that electric hookups are working properly.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the areas during and after events, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Physical Demands:

• Environmental Factors: Walking and standing on multiple surfaces, including carpeting, stone, or concrete, or kitchen tiling, some with potentially slick surfaces.
• Work Schedule: Position dictates working in a fast-paced environment and subject to flexible and/or irregular hours, including some late nights and weekends.
