Chemistry Instructor

Copper Mountain College is seeking a qualified Chemistry Instructor to join our part-time faculty team. This adjunct position will involve teaching introductory general chemistry courses at local high schools.

• This is a part-time, non-tenure-track position with an estimated hourly rate of $57.55-$74.36 based on degree and experience.

1. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing instruction for each class or laboratory period that fulfills all course requirements contained in the official Course Outline of Record (COR).
2. They will also publish a written syllabus based on the Academic Senate's standards and submit it as per District policy.
3. In addition, they will periodically assess and advise students of their progress toward meeting course objectives.

• A Master's degree in chemistry or a related field is required. Equivalent qualifications may be considered.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching chemistry and a strong understanding of academic policies and procedures.
