Salary Range
$16.60-$22.45 per hour, based on experience and location. Comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and mileage reimbursement.
About the Role
As a Hospice Aide/ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and support in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary goal will be to promote the patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, while also ensuring their safety and dignity. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide basic personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming;
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning;
• Prepare and serve light meals and snacks;
• Monitor and report any changes in the patient's condition or home situation;
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans;
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care activities;
Requirements
• Current CNA certification;
• 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology settings;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care;
