How You Will Make a Difference
As a Hospitalist Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive high-quality medical care and support throughout their rehabilitation journey.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Physiatrist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating care among therapists, nurses, case managers, and other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular rounding to monitor progress, address complications, and adjust care plans
- Oversee medical management, including pain control, spasticity treatment, and addressing co-existing conditions
- Collaborate with rehab psychologists to address cognitive, emotional, and behavioral challenges
- Work closely with nursing staff to ensure appropriate patient monitoring and care delivery
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Residency completion in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
- Board Certification by American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR) eligible
- Unrestricted Physiatrist Medical License in the state of Oregon
