We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a healthcare professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective medication use across our healthcare system. Your expertise will be essential in providing clinical guidance, monitoring drug therapy regimens, and promoting rational drug selection.
About the Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families. You will be responsible for interpreting drug orders, transcribing and verifying medication records, and maintaining accurate and complete patient drug records.
You will also be involved in the preparation and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, including non-sterile and sterile products, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition products. Additionally, you will provide services efficiently and in a timely manner, ensuring that all tasks are completed with high-quality and accuracy.
About the RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree and be registered as a pharmacist in the State of practice. You must also have pharmacy licensure within 60 days of start date and obtain BLS or ACLS and PALS certification within 180 days of start date.
About the BenefitsThis is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
