As an Assistant Manager, you will drive revenue growth and uphold the organization's standards of excellence during your designated shifts by overseeing the food service process, delegating responsibilities, managing cash flow, and prioritizing the delivery of top-notch cuisine paired with exceptional hospitality.
Your role will also encompass training Team Members under the guidance of the General Manager, providing essential support to the General Manager, assisting in the overall management of operations, and fostering the development and retention of Team Members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Overseeing Team Members and Shift Leaders while ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness with a continuous focus on profitability.
- Coordinating training sessions with team trainers.
- Fostering a collaborative and harmonious working relationship with management and fellow Team Members.
- Addressing HR matters as they arise, including disciplinary actions.
- Conducting team meetings as necessary to review operations, procedures, and promotions.
- Performing weekly inventory assessments.
- Managing payroll to align with company labor cost standards.
- Overseeing inventory management to meet company GAP standards.
- Supporting the management team and General Manager in operational decision-making.
- Maintaining reports and records in accordance with company standards and complying with state and federal regulations.
- Ensuring the upkeep of the building and equipment through proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance protocols.
- Taking responsibility for cash handling during all shifts, including bank deposits and adherence to cash management procedures.
- Enforcing all sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Upholding personal appearance in accordance with company standards and demonstrating professionalism.
- Recognizing and adhering to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to ensure a safe and compliant environment for all.
- Executing additional tasks as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Capacity to work in high-temperature environments.
- Comfortable working in close proximity to others.
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds with ease.
- Familiarity with various cleaning agents.
EXPERIENCE:
- Valid driver's license required.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including both opening and closing shifts.
- Reliable transportation and communication method with the restaurant.
