Job DescriptionThe ER Nurse will work closely with a diverse team of caregivers to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, urgent environment. Key responsibilities include performing minor medical operations, advising patients and families on illnesses or injuries, and planning long-term care needs.
Essential Responsibilities:- Provide basic bedside care and maintain patient safety
- Clean and bandage wounds while adhering to infection control protocols
- Administer IV therapy as ordered by physicians
- Maintain supplies and equipment to ensure seamless patient care
- Report suspected abuse or neglect to appropriate agencies
As an ER Travel Nurse, you should be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty. You should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting required. Good coping skills and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds are essential in this role.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- At least 2 years of recent acute care experience
A competitive salary range for this position is $145,000 - $165,000 per year, depending on experience. As a valued member of our team, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
