Housekeeping Aide Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Aide Lead to join our team at Highland-Clarksburg Hospital. As a key member of our facilities maintenance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all areas of the hospital are clean, safe, and well-maintained.

1. Instructs personnel in use of equipment and cleaning methods.
2. Performs hazard surveillance and semi-annual safety inspections.
3. Ensures employees perform assigned duties and respect patient's rights.
4. Completes various reports, i.e., weekly safety rounds, monthly department report, and internal customer satisfaction surveys.
5. Ensures that staff complies with hospital policies and procedures.
6. Responsible for recommending personnel action for individuals as needed.
7. Keeps a day-to-day inventory sheet on janitorial products and supplies and fills out purchase orders as needed.
8. Delegates work responsibilities to staff and plans work routine.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, documents, and follow procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and speak effectively with employees and managers.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables as needed.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Ability to deal with multi-personality types and remain calm during high-stress situations.

$40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
